My compassion and desire to represent clients in extremely difficult situations leads me to the practice of criminal defense and plaintiff's side employment law.

My legal studies focused on such beliefs. I graduated law school in the top 21% of my class, appeared consistently on the Deans List, and recieved the CALI Award of Academic Excellence in the following areas: Remedies, Labor Law, and for clincial work performed with the Tenderloin Housing Clinic in San Francisco.

If I've learned anything from my practice, empathy is key. Whenever I interact with a client, whether facing criminal charges or an unlawful action in the workplace, I take the time to listen and fully understand a client's objectives, expectations, and emotional state. WIthout fully understanding a client on those three levels, the goals of reprsentation are seldom met. I take the time to listen and understand. Effective representation does not occur without.

Conversely, assertive representation is a must. A client's best tool is their attonrey's fearless pursuit for their interests. I am not here to waste a client's time as they go through the legal system.
