Biography
As a Sacramento area family law, bankruptcy, and criminal defense attorney I am committed to helping people navigate the complex issues involving divorce, child custody, and domestic violence. I also handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases in addition to criminal cases as the need arises along with all types of cases involving various restraining orders. I was Born in New Orleans, LA and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I originally came to Sacramento to finish my B.A. in Government at Sac State after finishing Community College in the Los Angeles area. I have moved between LA and Sacramento several times since 2000. I travel between the two areas regularly for both professional and personal reasons and enjoy being able to help individuals resolve their legal issues in several practice areas across the entire State. I have volunteered extensively for domestic violence prevention organizations in Los Angeles and Sacramento. I have assisted in the preparation and filing of hundreds of restraining orders on behalf of both Petitioners and Respondents. I also conduct regular workshops that provide information on divorce, child custody, and domestic violence matters to indigent and unrepresented litigants.

Bad Lawyer
I hired Mr. Roy and his lack of work ethic showed. He spent more time checking up on me and billing it for me than working on my case. He’s not a motivated passionate lawyer. He just racks up an outrageous bill and in the end we lost.
