Andrew L Collier

Andrew Collier is a general commercial litigator specializing in large, complex disputes in state and federal court.  Andrew began his practice as a creditor's rights attorney at Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Mitchell LLP's San Francisco office.  In 2003, Mr. Collier joined the Litigation Department of Downey Brand LLP's Sacramento office.  Mr. Collier became a partner in 2007.  Mr. Collier was elected to the Firm's Executive Committee in 2014. 

Mr. Collier has over 15 years of experience in litigation including arbitrations, mediations, and trials.  He has handled all manners of civil disputes in diverse areas including real property (commercial lease, easement, purchase and sale agreement, deed of trust and foreclosure disputes), corporations (shareholder, partner, and member disputes), and contracts (buy-sell agreement, defense and indemnity agreement, and service agreement disputes).

Mr. Collier maintains a singular focus by understanding his clients' goals and navigating them through the litigation process in an effective and result, rather than process, driven manner.  Mr. Collier recognizes that attorneys are often distinguished by the level of service they provide and adheres to the highest standards of professionalism. 

Mr. Collier is the proud father of three young children and lives in Sacramento.
