Mike Jansen gives back to his community by donating his time to various charitable organizations such as Woodland United Way and Woodland Audio Visual Enterprises (WAVE public access t.v.). In Davis, he is a member of the Odd Fellows, where he spearheaded "Second Sunday Bingo!" at the Odd Fellows Hall to raise funds for charitable purposes.
