Howard Alan Liberman

Howard A. Liberman, Managing Attorney of the firm’s Los Angeles Office, boasts a distinguished legal career beginning in 1992. He launched his profession with the United States Navy as part of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, serving five years on active duty. During his tenure, he gained experience as a defense attorney, prosecutor, and Assistant Staff Judge Advocate for a two-star admiral. Transitioning to civilian life in 1997, Howard refocused on public sector labor law, particularly public safety disciplinary defense and collective bargaining. He continued his military service with the Navy Reserve, taking on roles such as defense attorney, legal assistance attorney, appellate defense counsel, and executive officer, retiring as a Commander in 2014. Howard's successful litigation on behalf of police officers and firefighters in both Superior Court and the Court of Appeal underscores his commitment to justice for those wrongfully accused of misconduct.
