Craig Eric Johnsen

Craig E. Johnsen serves as a supervising partner in the Workers’ Compensation Department at Mastagni Holstedt, APC, where he has been a dedicated member since 1994. With a robust practice across state and federal courts in California, Craig focuses on representing correctional officers and public safety employees in workers’ compensation hearings, trials, and appeals. His experience as a former group supervisor and youth counselor for the California Department of Corrections (CDC) lends him unique insight into the challenges faced by his clients. Balancing work and education, Craig attended law school at UC Davis while employed at the DeWitt Nelson Training School in Stockton. He also holds a Master’s degree in English from the University of the Pacific and a Bachelor’s from the State University of New York at Cortland. Aside from his legal endeavors, Craig was an instructor at San Joaquin Delta College and served as a legal intern for the California Correctional Peace Officers Association. His diverse experience and unwavering dedication make him an invaluable advocate for his clients.
