How do you lose a case when your car is stopped, rearended, pushed 10 feet. Have Alan Laskin as your attorney

I was stopped at a red light, rear-ended, pushed 10 feet into the intersection, glasses flew off etc. Allstate represented the other party in the matter and I hired Alan Laskin to represent me to get reimbursement for about $2,100 in Chiropractic bills that were not paid above and beyond my $5,000 m...ed pay. We won in mediation 2 times however Allstate would not pay. We took it to court: Mr. Laskin lost the case. Other party hired a Doctor who examined me and during the examination exagerated her movements putting pressure on my head downward (there was no pain as she was not really putting pressure downward). I immeidiately mentioned it to Mr. Laskin who was there with me. Mr. Laskin failed to bring this up during cross examination of the Doctor. Allstate Attorney represented that her client (did not mention she was being represented by Allstate) was a poor mother of 3 children and I was a successful business person trying to sue her. In court indicated how I did not claim any pain in the first 24 hours (that is accurate, I was pain free). However she indicated that I claimed pain several days later and that does not make sense. NOTE: I had over a year of VERY intense pain and headaches after the accident. We had a three day trail, the final day we had to start late due to one of the jurors having been in an accident that morning. The judge asked the attorneys if there was a problem keeping that juror on board given the accident. The Allstate attorney said "she is unlikely to feel any pain anyway for 2-3 days so is should be fine. Mr. Laskin did not object to this nor point out the hypocrasy. The Allstate attorney discovered and presented the fact that my initial treating Chiropractor had apparantly completed some insurance documentation incorrectly which resulted in the Doctor apparantly doing something that was not proper and self serving. The Attorney inferred that since I knew this Doctor prior to the accident that I was imlicit in the matter ( I had ongoing random visits over several years with him and in fact for over 20 years with other Chiropractors for general health and maintenance). The chiropractic costs I was trying to get reimbursed for were not for this Doctor as I was no longer seeing him. His services for the pain from the accident had gotten me to a certain level of relief and I chose to switch to another Doctor for the accident injury. he had been fully paid by my Med Pay on my policy. This Chiropractor had never been to court before and was reletively knew to personal injury legal matters. I do not believe he tried to rip off the insurance company however that is what was inferred. Mr. Laskin did not do anything with this diversion that had no direct connection with my claim. The Allstate Attorney tied it all together during summation to make a case that inferred that I was a person who lacked integrity had sufficient assets and was trying to take advantage of a poor victim (the person who ran into me). Mr. Laskin failed to make a good case and the end result is that I lost the case. Mr. Lasking informed me at the end of the trail that I was possibly going to get a judgement placed against me by Allstate for court costs, attorney costs and overall costs incurred by Allstate in the case. He additionally mentioned that he is very well acquented with the Allstate attorney and will ensure that its handled and I will have nothing to worry about in regard to a judgement. WRONG WRONG WRONG. I got a post card several months later from the Sacramento County Court indicating a judgement had been placed against me. The costs were just short of $10,000. Mr. Lasking has not been around to help or resolve this at all. He mishandled the case, misled me and left me hanging. My life has been about avoiding paying this judgement for several years now.

"I have referred several clients to Alan Laskin, in recent years, with great confidence. The thing I like best is that he is not afraid to litigate a case. He is not looking for the quick recovery by settlement as some attorneys are. He wants to do what is best for his client even if that means a lengthy trial. To me that is the hallmark of a great personal injury attorney. I think very highly of Mr. Laskin and endorse him as an attorney!"
