Biography
I worked in the hospitality industry for many years before becoming an attorney. I then worked for the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control for almost five years where I litigated enforcement actions and licensing matters on behalf of the Department. While at ABC, I litigated a case at hearing, and on appeal, that was later deemed precedential by the Department (24-01-E, Sunrise Spirits and Food Co.). I left my poisition at ABC to open my own office and also began working with my law school friend, Kevin Doherty, practicing criminal defense in Placer County. Kevin and I later decided to join our practices together, creating R&D Law Group.
