I worked with Vanessa & Dre and was completely disappointed. They will tell you in your paid consultation that you have a solid, winnable, and strong case to get your retainer, after this their attitude completely changes. They will ghost you for weeks, with voicemails and emails going into the et...her. They will phantom bill you, not tell you what the hours are for, request a billing review that goes in circles (a meeting you get billed for!) just to waste more money, and when you question the billing with Vanessa you get an effective email stating they are not representing you anymore in the case. They then hold your case hostage, communicating with the other side for billables that are not necessary. When you email them with a question, instead of a simple reply with an ANWSER they ask a question instead again running your billables up, this is even when they know there are hard deadlines with your case. This firm will only play games with your case, bill you for nothing, and when you simply ask why they drop you and hold your case hostage. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM! I work with numerous attorneys for my businesses, I know what good firms are and which are not. NORCAL ATTORNEY BROKERS ARE BAD. STAY AWAY. DO NOT LET THEM REP YOUR CASES

A friend suggested Vanessa might be able to help me with a probate issue I was having and even though she does not litigate probate matters she was able to help me understand where I stood legally and what my options were and suggest a potential litigator that could help me. I was glad I spoke with h...er she was very helpful in educating me on my situation

After I bought this property my GC found this damage. I tried discussing the problem with the HOA but they said it was my problem to handle. In talking with Vanessa turns out since the property was held in trust the seller was not obligated to disclose any damage if they knew about it. And also it ...was one of the things my realtor should have investigated and informed me before I bought. Vanessa gave me options for what I could do like taking my realtor to court and/or reporting him to the DRE. I appreciate that she took the time during her free consultation to explain my rights as a buyer and what the job of the realtor should be. It truly is a “buyers beware” situation and I wish all realtors would take the time to explain like Vanessa did. Thank you

I consulted Vanessa regarding a house lease that both my son and I signed and entered into contract early this year. Vanessa was most understanding and thorough when she explained our rights as tenants on our yearly lease. With the holidays approaching around the corner and my son’s family with 3 you...ng kids in tow, the landlord was going to give my son 4 weeks to move out quite suddenly because the landlord made a quick decision to sell the house which we still had 4 remaining months left on the lease that we also expected to renew. The landlord however expected my son to comply without due recourse with such short notice; but armed with the knowledge of all parties’ contractual obligation, we are very grateful to Vanessa for her help. The landlord relented and my son will have a happy Christmas for whatever short amount of time he has left in the house that he and his young family have come to enjoy and love, knowing to the best of their hearts that this landlord couldn’t have found better caretakers.
