I hired attorney Robert zabik on September 11th to do a trust and will for me. I took a few months to write up my trust instructions which were very detailed and on May 8th 2019 I went in for an appointment to submit my trust instructions. He said he would have it done in 2 weeks. I gave him three we...eks and tried to contact him and he would not answer any of my phone messages. I had to leave the state for a short time but continued to call him with no answer to my messages when I returned on July 10th I went into his office. He was at his desk working I asked him why he had not been giving me return calls from my messages and he gave me several excuses which were not valid. He said okay I'll get the work done give me two weeks. After 3 weeks of not hearing from him again I decided it was time to write him a professional letter. I gave him a notice that I was coming in to pick up my refund of $700 because he had not performed any work for me and had lied to me about getting the work done twice. I told him in the letter that I would be in on the 13th of July to pick up my $700 refund. He was in his office and said no I will not give you your money back. I formally sent him a letter terminating him as my attorney. I then filed with BBB, California State Bar Association and I'm filing with Sacramento Superior Court claims office to retrieve my money.
