Scott Hames

T. Scott Hames has dedicated his career to representing individuals who need help navigating the legal system. Since graduating from law school in 1998, Scott has fought to protect the rights of his clients with dedication and compassion ensuring that they get the best legal representation they deserve. Just two months after passing the bar, Scott won his first trial for a personal injury action and was recognized in legal periodicals. Soon after, Scott moved into criminal defense in Northern California where he litigated criminal cases as an associate attorney. From there, he moved into civil litigation where he represented individuals who were exposed to asbestos and developed mesothelioma, a rare and deadly form of cancer. Throughout his legal career, Scott has represented hundreds of clients over the years, and litigated against some of the largest and most offending corporations in the world who were responsible. His hard-work, tenacity, and perseverance to bring justice to his clients often results in multi-million verdicts and settlements, and one of the largest verdicts in asbestos litigation of over $200 million dollars.

In 2015, T. Scott Hames began his own law practice in Northern California, where he provides representation for clients in need of legal assistance in areas of criminal defense, personal injury and wrongful death. Scott has unparalleled experience and passion for the law that he brings with him to his firm. Scott is recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer.  

Scott is admitted to the California State Bar, United States District for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
