I am a loving wife and mother of two incredible young men, who are the loves of my life. I am passionate about dachsunds (Rosie, Cosmo and Zoey) and mentoring young lawyers. My mission is to educate and help California consumers regarding their Lemon Law rights.
Long before I knew about the Lemon Law, we had a Jeep that was a lemon. We were so frustrated with both the car and the dealership that we ended up trading it in to CarMax, losing money as the vehicle had depreciated. Had we known about the Lemon Law, we could have made the manufacturer buy it back for everything we spent on it. We might have been entitled up to two times the value of the vehicle in Civil Penalties. But I did not know. Now I do. That is why I want to make sure others know about the Lemon Law.
I also want to tell people that when you buy or lease a new car and you have a problem, any problem, take it to the dealer to document your problem. If you wait until the warranty has expired, you can lose your rights under the Lemon Law. Call me any time to discuss your situation.
