I apologize for the length of this review at the outset. While all the reviews you've read were accurate regarding Ryan's integrity and performance for his clients, I've seen none that really delve into details as to why he gets such rave reviews. So, here goes: Ryan was actually the third attorne...y to take on my auto crash case at the large firm he used to work for, as the two before him moved out of state or to new firms. When I heard that I was being passed off to a 3rd atty, I wasn't exactly enthused. But that all changed as soon as Ryan got on the phone with me the first time. Right away, Ryan brought me up to speed with the progress, explained his plans for next steps, laid out his strategy for dealing with insurance, and most importantly, asked how I was coming along in healing. It's difficult to explain how, but I immediately knew I was in good hands. I've seen one reviewer refer to working with Ryan as knowing you had a big brother, who understood the stakes and had your back. And that truly is the perfect way to put it. By the time I got off that 1st call, I knew everything was going to be ok and work out for my case. Throughout the process, Ryan regularly checked in with me, to give latest updates, ask about my status and clue me in on next steps. Ryan kept me in the loop at every turn, allowing me to make informed decisions about how to proceed, made sure to explain anything I didn't understand and gave me his fair - and most importantly - honest advice on the best path to take to bring my case to a successful conclusion, but ultimately, left every decision up to me, after thoroughly explaining risks and rewards. When insurance told me I should take the offer they'd given, or walk with nothing, Ryan did not try to sway my decision one way or the other. Instead, he laid out the facts in a easy to understand manner, gave me my options, gave me "best case/worst case" scenarios, told me he was confident that he could get them to come up for a far more fair total and asked how I wanted to proceed. Once I gave him my answer, he got to work immediately and kept me apprised of the situation at regular intervals. Through his tenacious attitude, solid understanding of the law and sheer dogged determination, Ryan was able to get the insurance company to come up considerably from their initial "take it or leave it" offer. Once that part was taken care of, he set about to contacting all the med providers who held liens and negotiated price reductions for their services on my behalf. In the end, Ryan was able to get me a settlement that was more than decent and get my case all buttoned up. Ryan took care of me as if I were a close personal friend or member of his own family, and I will forever be grateful for his efforts. As I write this, we are all being inundated with TV ads about unscrupulous consumer attorneys who've taken advantage of their clients. Those ads are enough to make anyone doubt that there are any attys of character out there, essentially painting all attys with the same broad brush of contempt. Ads like those running now are the reason that society makes jokes about attys being "sharks", shady and dishonest; people to be wary of, a profession unworthy of your trust. But that is exactly what sets Ryan apart from all the rest: This is a man of integrity, who will put you and your needs first, even above his own profits if that's what it comes down to. Ryan Dostart is a man and attorney you can trust. Period. So, if you've been scanning websites and review pages, trying to figure out who is the best atty to represent you, you've found him. I truly hope I never need his services again, but in the event that I do, I will definitely be calling on Ryan again and I cannot recommend him enough if you are in search of an atty to represent you. Responsive, Skilled, Trustworthy
