About Paul
Biography
Much of my career has consisted of handling cases involving medical disability issues. I served as a senior attorney for the California Public Employees' Retrement System (CalPERS) for 17 years. I was responsible for litigation, most of which consisted of disability retirement cases. In 2000, I left CalPERS to start a private practice. Since then I have focused primarily on handling Social Security disability cases where I have continued to develop expertise in medical disability issues. In both my public and private law practices I have been able to apply my background in psychology to resolve claims of those with mental impairments, so I especially look forward to helping clients with mental health issues.
