Write a demand letter first, clearly stating your claim. Then go to court when they don't answer.

We had a boat dock built by a contractor. He had a carport done for the roof of the deck by the carport company.

If the carport company is a subcontractor of your contractor (i.e., your contractor retained them to do the work), it is your contractor...

We do not redact account information on immigration forms filed with USCIS. They have plenty of personal information about you anyways....

Mistakes happen. I assume it could be reversed, and that the bank would cover any bounced check fees, etc. Have you talked to the bank manager ?
