Emil Ray Dixon

Mr. Dixon is the founder and sole attorney for the Davis Legal Center.  He has a strong history of public service and has gained diverse legal experience and training across the globe.  Mr. Dixon has worked with private law offices, consulting firms, state agencies and non-profit groups on law and policy issues ranging from human rights to ethics.  This unique experience allows him to connect with clients on a personal level and understand their needs.

Mr. Dixon's immigration practice emphasizes complex written appeals and waivers, and he draws upon his substantial writing background to provide superior services to his clients.  Not only does Mr. Dixon have experience in legal research and writing, but he has taught an advanced persuasive writing course as an adjunct professor for Brigham Young University, Idaho, for the past four years.  Before entering the legal field, Mr. Dixon was employed as a senior grant writer where he helped disadvantaged school districts secure grant funds to enhance school facilities and teacher training.  His work benefitted thousands of students and teachers across the country through the receipt of federal and state grant monies.

These experiences allow him to effectively argue your case on appeal and provide other immigration services.

Mr. Dixon is also an active participant in the Board of Immigration Appeals Pro Bono Project where he represents indigent immigrants on appeal.
