David beat Goliath

Some poppies stand taller in the field than others; some lawyers stand taller in the legal field than others. Bruce Stanton stands tall. Mr. Stanton rises above the field due to his clear, linear thinking and purposeful strategy for winning, his unruffled, professional demeanor in the courtroom, and ...his management style with his clients. And he wins his cases. He won our case! For two years in a row, and two litigations, Bruce Stanton has been the attorney for the El Nido Estates to prevent two separate, exorbitant 100% rent increases in our rent-controlled mobilehome park. In contrast to the opposing lawyer, a high-powered, high-priced master of sophistry, who relied upon theatrical antics, procedural objections, straw-man arguments and convoluted logic, Bruce Stanton, with a calm and steady hand, kept his eye focused on the facts and legal arguments it took to win and quietly and masterfully prevailed! Undeterred by the antics of the opposition, he tartly rebutted each argument they enumerated and deftly shone light on their obfuscations. He was a brilliant foil to their clown. Equally impressive, Bruce Stanton was masterful in his handling of us, his client/s (all 155 mobilehome residents), when we became fearful and demanding. He calmed our fears and guided us back to the facts and our strategy to win. He was patient and generous with his time while being respectful of “billing hours”. On two occasions he participated in a phone conference call with all residents to explain the on-going legal process and answer our never-ending and repetitive questions. With calm expertise and a depth of experience, Bruce Stanton led the charge that protected rent control and denied the owner his exorbitant rent increase. David beat Goliath

Mobile Home Disaster

We were swindled by everyone from the seller to the broker to the park owner and her management including the park owner's greedy, unprofessional attorney, who Mr. Stanton knew from a previous case. Mr. Stanton was a gentleman, expertly professional and knowledgeable, helpful, and sympathetic. We s...tarted out with a very bad attorney and had to fire him because his course of action would have given our home to the park owner unconditionally. We were given Mr. Stanton's name from our home owner's association rep. After we disconnected ourselves from the previous attorney, Mr. Stanton didn't waste any time getting involved. He traveled to Orange County (where attorneys willing to help mobile home owners or who are even knowledgeable in mobile home tenancy law are practically non-existent) and did all he could do for our case. It's difficult to find an attorney who is also a good person, who has a good moral code, and I've worked with a lot of them. Mr. Stanton is an attorney from whom I would seek counsel again, even if it were a situation other than a mobile home tenancy problem.

Great Attorney!

I sold my mobile home on an installment contract. The gentleman quit paying me. A lot of attorneys don't do foreclosures on mobile homes. I was given Mr. Stanton's name from a mobile home finance company and called him. His fee to handle the foreclosure was very reasonable. I would have thought he wo...uld charge a lot more considering his expertise, but he was extremely fair. He has always returned my phone calls and been a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him in a flat minute. What's great is he doesn't just specialize in mobile home law, but business law and now I can use him for most things I need a lawyer for. I have complete confidence in his ability.
