Brandt Richard Stickel

With extensive legal and professional experience, Brandt R. Stickel leads Hogan & Stickel, Inc., where he focuses in estate planning, probate, trust administration, conservatorships, and business organization. Brandt’s academic background includes degrees from UC Berkeley, the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and Willamette University College of Law, as well as an LL.M. in taxation from Golden Gate University. After practicing civil litigation for sixteen years, he joined forces with Sean J. Hogan to form Hogan & Stickel, Inc. in 2006 and became principal of the firm following Mr. Hogan’s retirement. Over the last several years Brandt, the firm CPA Larry Flores, and partner Amanda Pekin have maintained a regular column in the Mendocino County Real Estate Magazine, with informative articles devoted to estate planning and tax issues. Brandt is deeply invested in the Mendocino Coast, contributing to several nonprofit organizations and actively participating in local community life. He is recognized for his dedication to educating clients and guiding them toward their legal goals with personalized, thoughtful counsel.
