Peter Jay Bassing

Peter has done some estate planning for some of my family members. He drafted will and trusts professionally and competently. Yet, he has been the attorney for the trustee of my father's trust. The handling of the trust, which is relatively small and simple, has taken years and been unnecessarily ...adversarial. I cannot be sure if this is because Mr. Bassing is following the wishes of the trustee or if he is the source of the problem, but nonetheless, this whole experience has left me with a sour taste and I therefore would never recommend him. The one exception to that is, if you are a trustee and wish to reap havoc on the trust beneficiaries, he is defiantly your man.
