This case is in regards to my moms trust. First of all when said attorney finally sat us all together to go over everything and tell us how much we would be getting etc, I had noticed that my mothers life insurance policy was not on accounting and when I asked her why it wasn't on there she said in t...hese exact words, "uh I don't know, I don't remember, oh I think she cashed it out", now in my mind I knew that wasn't true because I had received the paperwork from my moms life insurance company in the mail. I also called them to find out what we needed to do, and bottom line they had told me there was money and what we were to do and so I gave the paperwork to the attorney back then. Now why would she say she didn't know or didn't remember and she thinks she cashed it out, that makes no sense at all when I had got the papers to her a couple years ago knowing there was money but to turn around and act like she thinks she cashed it out, kind of fishy if you ask me. So anyways, I called the life insurance company and told them what she said and would they please find out for me what the status of my mothers life insurance policy was and they did and my mom did not cash it out, the money was there just like I knew it was and told her years back. Basically my point is this, or I guess question is why would she not tell the truth about said incident? I don't know but this most definitely has me questioning whether or not to trust her at this point, and I already had some doubts anyway. Also, I don't know how long it usually takes before trust monies are distributed, but in our particular case it has been going on for over four years now and we have just recently got a partial distribution. Furthermore when we did finally get that partial distribution it was not the amount specified in the legal document which was also notarized, and she told us verbally as well. When we asked her when we were going to get the balance she said when the fiscal cliff was resolved and if we didn't hear from her in a few weeks or if we heard the fiscal cliff had been resolved to give her a call. Well three weeks had passed and then some so I tried to call her and I always got her voicemail, until finally she left me a message telling me to call someone else so I did only to get the run around.. Finally I sent her an email regarding what we had discussed along with something else I had heard regarding our distribution which was that we were not going to get any more money, only to become even more frustrated because now we are being told something entirely different than what she had told us in her office. Bottom-line is, I have been left to feel totally in the dark and totally questioning her as an attorney. She refuses to answer any questions without getting paid, simple little over the phone questions and anytime I attempt to contact her she is very rude and I always get the run around,
