Michael James Kalanta

Before coming into Mr. kalantas office I had spoken with two other attorneys at different locations going off of their yelp reviews and didn't have a very good consult/experience with them and was beginning to feel discouraged but after a friend referred me to his office and I sat down with Mr Kalant...a he immediately start an action plan for my case with me. They took the weight and stress off my shoulders for me. He worked with me financially as well. We only had a week and a half to prepare for my court date and I got the best possible court order with him as my attorney. the team inside this law office awesome,very friendly and his paralegal is extremely knowledgeable and her paperwork is beyond well written and informative. when it comes to your children you want someone who is willing to fight hard along side with you, they also seemed to have my daughter's best ineterest in mind which is most important in a custody case. I ended up as the sole legal and sole physical parent with 100 % custody.

I thought I had found a lawyer who could help me instead I lost custody of my child due to his negligence and lack of care or concern of the best interest of me his client. I was set to go to court to dispute with my statement ready and 2 days before this firm informs me that my x has an offer, but I... was never told that if i did not go to hearing that my x would get temporary order.. Had i been rightfully informed I would have said court first then hear their offer. i was then told by going to courthouse that my representation actually had a "scheduling conflict"...... Excuse me?? conflict when I was on you calendar... not only this but I was told they would serve my x with papers for him to pay lawyers fees,, I got a call and was told it was approved.. only to find out that he did not get them approved that the x paid outright without it being sent to court.. The last and final straw was attitude and lack of compassion for me as a person his client whom I thought had my best interest at heart, turns out they are just in it to get your money. Because of this firm I lost custody to my x who has never been anything more than a paycheck and has never once went to a conference or a doctor appointment or even nursed the children back to health. The fact that the blatant outright egregious lies that my x told to get orders under and they did not even allow me to dispute or put a motion in at all to stop the x's request for custody should be horror enough for you to run as far away from Kalanta Lawfirm. I wish I would have googled him but at the time i was under extreme duress and because i was so vulnerable and had been to 4 other law offices that wouldn't help because of money I thought that this firm was my saving grace.. I could not have been more wrong in my life. DO NO TTRUST THIS FIRM AT ALL
