Just like the other review, he is does not do his due diligence.. I hired him to do a final settlement with the wife's attorney since her attorney would not respond to my settlement offers. It took him 9 months to do something that should have taken weeks... Charged a ridiculous fee and to zero out ...his books he sent me bogus billings to spend the last couple hundred dollars on account... What a dishonest person... Then to top it off he never sent me my final divorce papers. Terrible office personnel. Could have emailed, mailed, whatever, but no papers, it's been 1 1/2 years and I am having to request them again...Do not waist your time, money or stress with this guy and his firm... Absolutely should not be in business, especially in the legal business. He is very inexperienced... Shame on him......I would not recommend him to my worst enemy...

I had been dealing with a nightmare divorce of 3 years and needed help finalizing it and getting custody of my son as well. After hiring other legal services and having no progress, Mr. Kalanta and his team did an amazing job of getting it done and finished and with better results than I had expected.... Divorce and fighting for custody of children is not an easy process. In my case, it's has been a nightmare. After over 2 years, we are still trying to negotiate a fair custody arrangement for my son and daughter. Mike is almost too honest to be a lawyer. He doesn't sugarcoat things and sometimes it h...ard to except especially when he comes to your children. Mike had well-thought plan for my case. Mr. Kalanta took my case after my estrange wife filed for divorce and from the first day he took time to explained each steps in the divorce process. Mr. Kalanta listen to my issues and he did not treat me like just another client. My case has been complex with my estrange wife attempting to keep the... house while still having me pay the mortgage and spousal support in the process. I was forced to retired from the military after 24yrs of service due to medical issues connected to Iraq/Afghanistan conflicts. Mr. Kalanta conveyed the important parts of the case to the judge, thus reducing my spousal support and fighting for me not to pay my estrange wife mortgage. Bottom line, As a retired CSM/SGM who has led troops in and out of war, I strongly recommend Mr. Kalanta, to all my fellow soldiers who may find themselves in a similar situation or in need of legal consult.
