The best Lawyer in the county

Leslie Jensen is the best lawyer in the Northern County by far. Extremely talented litigator and very knowledgeable. The best representation I have ever come across.

Leslie is great!

Leslie Jensen is a superb attorney! Her knowledge of the law is extensive and her years of experience show in her professional manner. She is meticulously organized and a powerful, articulate speaker in court. She handled my divorce case succinctly and efficiently, while also addressing my personal n...eeds. I really appreciate her innate ability to see through a situation. I recommend Leslie to anyone!

A strong recommendation for Leslie Jensen

Due to an extremely vindictive x-wife who was represented by an attorney with a strong bias against public safety administrators, I was subjected to a divorce & alimony proceeding that lasted about four years. During this time, Ms. Jensen continually represented me in the most professional, competen...t and responsive manner I could only hope for. I strongly recommend her to others who need good legal representation.

Biggest mistake to trust Leslie F. Jensen to do her job in representing you and your childrens best interests.

I am in the process of making a formal complain against Leslie F. Jensen. she didn't do anything to help me during my divorce. she didn't review my case at all, she didn't care. she was quick to collect the $4000, but useless otherwise. She gossiped about me, as I witnessed first had in the court ro...om as she and another attorney gossiping about their clients. she sat in mediation, but didn't do anything to protect my children's interests. She is not any woman's advocate, specially those women that have a say about what she isn't doing & God for bid if anyone questions her or her intentions. I begged her over and over for advice. The only thing I ever got from her was, she would shrug her shoulders and say "I DON'T KNOW" she had the nastiest attitude, is judgmental, extremely RUDE, unbelievably arrogant, most of all if she doesn't like you, she's not invested in your case and will do the least amount of work possible. I never once felt assured or protected by her or her ability to represent me adequately. I was completely alone in this process. she didn't review any of my paperwork, I was never given any notice for court dates by her. I never once was given any advice by her or her office. as this was my first time going through a divorce I wasn't sure of anything and needed an attorney who would share her wisdom & advise me with her knowledge of the law or with her experience of the family courts system. I wasn't happy with her from the first custody mediation, as she did nothing to protect my children from unnecessary traveling. I emailed her to tell her I was completely unhappy and needed better representation, and she basically told me she was appalled at the contents of my email, and furthermore she proceeded to basically (to my understanding and those of whom have read the emails) threatened me with " state of California is more favorable with a parent who is willing to share the kids" those words scared me to death, I felt like I had to give into every demand, or else ... She over charged me for a meeting that was only a half hour, but charged me 45 minute, over charged me for emails, & phone calls. she was never on time in court. I was always the last man standing in the court room. She made it extremely hard for me to ask questions, I was very afraid that she would abandon me all together and I didn't have the means to hire another attorney. she sat back and did nothing. my ex and I have a huge loan, and/or financial obligation to a family member where it involved a large sum of money. Loans that were given and property that was purchased in the family members name, and then later lost because we could not pay for that property any longer. anyway, I had submitted pages of return check copies and such. None of which she had EVER reviewed or ever given proper attention to, and in the end she screwed up the agreement so badly trying to convince me to take on full responsibility of the loan & telling me it was written as to my request. which was a complete LIE. I would never agree to anything like that. I was forced to just accept what she was saying. she rushed me through everything, she kept saying sigh here. sign here. sign here. and bam it was done. she didn't do any research to protect with the IRS matter, I told her I was advised by an accountant who told me this is not ok, not a good plan for you, not to your best interest, & she yelled at me in the court house lobby and walked away. didn't tell me I had to wait around to get a copy of my divorce settlement. All she told me was, " I'm done" and walked out of the court room. I later found out that I was suppose to stay there to receive a copy of the signed documents, or I was suppose to provide a self addressed envelope to have those important documents mailed to me. Leslie Jensen was the worst thing that happened to me. she screwed me. My ex says "I had both your attorney and my attorney working for me" she basically refused to do her job, she screwed me ...

The public record of this proceeding reveals this client, Wife, had several hearings pertaining to custody and support issues. She and her husband reached agreements as to a parenting plan and a long term support order. The parties entered into a Marital Settlement Agreement resolving all contested issues in an amicable manner. Husband paid $3,000 of Wife's attorneys fees. Public record indicates case was commenced 6-5-13 by Husband filing a Petition for Dissolution and case was concluded 4-8-14 with a Marital Settlement Agreement and Judgment. The issues of family loans and other property issues referenced in client's post are entirely explained and resolved in the Marital Settlement Agreement terms and conditions. The court file reveals numerous pleadings filed on behalf of Wife and her participation in contested hearings. Due to the constraints of attorney-client privilege, no information other than what is found in the public record is referenced in this comment. Family Code 3040(a)(1) provides in part, "In making an order granting custody to either parent, the court shall consider, among other factors, which parent is more likely to allow the child frequent and continuing contact with the noncustodial parent..."
