Jeffrey Ray Olson

Mr. Olson is a native of California and settled in the greater Modesto area in 1986. He began his legal career in 1986 when he joined the Modesto Law Firm of Martin, Crabtree, Schmidt & Zeff. For the previous 12 years, he was a police officer on the city police force in Richmond, California (homicide detective and other assignments), and previous to that, a Vietnam Veteran (US Army). From 1992 to November 2003, Mr. Olson was in two law partnerships and during the latter time in solo practice. In December 2003, he joined McCormick Barstow and works out of the Modesto office. He is a judicial arbitrator and also acts as a civil litigation mediator (Pepperdine University trained), and on the Stanislaus County Superior Court mediation panel.

Mr. Olson is admitted to practice law before all California State Courts, U.S. District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California, and U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
