Curtis Dean Colaw

Curtis Colaw was direct and still patient with my case. He gave me great advice and listened to all my needs. Mr. Colaw was professional and still showed compassion toward myself and my family when it was needed; he gave me a voice when I was apprehensive. Because of his efforts, my case was handled ...efficiently; I received everything I asked for in regards to custody of my child along with a better sense of security and confidence due to his quick handling of the much needed restraining order. I would highly recommend his services anytime!

I had a consultation over the phone with Curtis and I just have to say I feel so at ease with my situation. It was a 20 minute phone call and in those 20 minutes he gave me a lot of information I did not know. He was honest and did not come off as he only wanted somebody’s money. I hired Mr. Colaw a little over a year ago because my ex was suing me for half of my house which he was entitled to. I never disputed this fact, however, my ex decided he needed more than what he was entitled to and decided to sue me for everything he thought I might have and then some. I had calle...d around to a few lawyers and they told me to keep out the emotion from what I was going thru, Mr. Colaw never said that to me, in fact, he said it would be hard not to be emotional. There were so MANY lies my ex stated in his deposition, but Mr. Colaw definitely knows the laws and was able to get the mediator to see thru these lies and was able to get us to settle in mediation saving us whatever equity we had in the house plus a little bonus for me after all was said and done. He was always able to talk me off the edge (so to speak) when I would get too overwhelmed. It was the worst period of my life and Mr. Colaw was a small beacon of light helping me get thru this legally, ethically, gracefully and full of dignity.
