Brian Ricardo Chavez-Ochoa

I have tried several cases and appeals with Brian as co-counsel or lead counsel. He is skilled as a courtroom attorney, extremely knowledgeable about procedure and able to apply it in practice without hesitation. He is excellent at examination of law enforcement officials to demonstrate gaps or eve...n wrongdoing in their procedure. I would work with him again anytime.

I hired this attorney to handle an appeal. He did not appear to do any research before the trial. He arrived at trial without having prepared a brief, nor did it appear that he had even researched the case. He was so befuddled during the trial that the judge and plaintiff both laughed at him. The... other side presented untrue information and this attorney did not object to anything. He did not meet with me before the trial to review what might happen or how to respond. I would not recommend him for anything. He is a nice guy but he was of no help for my cause. It almost appeared that he was on the other side.
