Our office practices in all areas of Juvenile and Adult criminal defense including: DUI defense, Domestic Violence, Restraining orders, Sex offenses, Gangs, Drugs and Murder. We also represent clients in Juvenile Dependency (CPS) court Guardianship court and Administrative hearings including Child Abuse Central Index Proceedings and Foster Care Licensing hearings. Facing criminal charges can be an intimidating, scary, and nerve wracking. We help guide our clients through the process and advocate for them every step of the way. We dig deep to see if the police had justification to pull the client over, detain the client, ask for a breathalyzer, do a warrantless search, or conduct and interview. We examine the crime reports, body worn cameras, and do our own independent investigation. We inform the client of all of their rights and options under the law. We strive to put the client first, resolve concerns and advocate for a fair and just result. As of 2024, Gabrielle Tetreault is the only Certified Child Welfare Law Specialist in San Joaquin County (certified by the National Association of Counsel for Children). I graduated law school in June of 1998, and began practicing in December of 1998.  I pretty much taught myself the law.  I attended a traditional law school for my first year of law school (Lincoln Law School, in San Jose, California), and then studied on my own thereafter through a self study program with (Northwestern California University, "NCU" Sacramento, California).   While studying the law (30 hours a week), I also worked a demanding job (60 hours per week) as a corporate executive.  Ultimately, I received both a Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctorate Degree from NCU.  So if you learn nothing else about me, know that I am a very focused and determined person.   I passed the bar (on the first try)  and now I try to help other law students by acting as a mentor to law students.   [See the Law Student Services section of this web site]  My clients are generally happy with the services that I perform because I take the time to know the law,  listen to the client's needs, understand the facts of their particular situation and shoot for the best possible resolution of their matter.  

 My office is small, just me, an assoicate attorney, my office manger, and legal secretary who keeps us organized and efficient.  What we lack in size, we make up in heart; God's Heart!
