Kanika Rani Radhakrishnan

I was upbeat when I started working with Kanika in 2015 for my software patent. However, fast forward almost 6 years and after spending way over $10k I had to withdraw the patent application as Kanika could not successfully negotiate with the patent examiner. Action after action after action after a...ction from the examiner and her office kept sending me the examiner's action notice and invoice with no explanation whatsoever in laymen's language. Each action cost me hundreds and hundreds of dollars and somehow Kanika or her liason/office were not able to convince the examiner. I often got the impression that my patent was not being handled by Kanika personally but by some third party sub-contracted junior attorney or an intern in her office. I finally had no choice but to cut my losses and withdraw the patent application. I would not recommend Kanika for a software patent.

We needed help filing our first company patent, and none of the inventors had experience with patents before. Kanika and her team were excellent: she guided us through our basic and more complicated questions, and put together a great application, incorporating our feedback along the way. We were und...er some time pressure, and Kanika made sure to speed us through to the finish line. I would highly recommend working with Kanika and her team.
