I wasn’t gonna hire a disability lawyer prior to my original hearing date with an ALJ back in March of this year. It was a last minute decision. The judge had granted my request to find a representation and reschedule my hearing to a later date. I’m glad I did. I’ve looked up a number of disabili...ty lawyers in my area and Atty Grbeshi was one of them. Her educational background and years of experience fighting for people like me who have been denied (SSDI) either at initial or reconsideration stage of the application. I called her office the very same day that the ALJ granted my request to reschedule the hearing and spoke with her assistant and she, Atty. Grbeshi, called me later that day for a consultation. She and her team wasted no time gathering some evidence and/ or pertinent paperwork and documents pertaining to my case. She explained everything to me what to expect during the hearing and asked me questions regarding my disability background in order to get to know me better so she can better represent my case with the ALJ. My phone hearing with the ALJ in July went very well. Attorney Grbeshi was very confident and knowledgeable in answering the judge’s questions and also she knew the right questions to ask the vocational expert during the hearing. It was a nerve-wracking experience for me but I’m very grateful to have Atty. Grbeshi in my corner. So today i just found out from the local SSA office that I won or have just been approved.
