Serious burn injuries resulting in partial leg amputation. Plaintiff was involved in construction at Stanford University and was stabilizing a pipe being moved by a crane. The crane operator failed to ... note the 60,000 volt line overhead and struck it with the resulting injuries. Defendants included PG&E, the crane manufacturer and Stanford. The case was resolved prior to trial for a series of structured settlements.
