Nelson Karl Mcelmurry

Nelson helped my son with a sex case he didn't commit. It was the worst, unfounded accusation anyone could face. He ( My Son) was looking at 15- life for a crime we are sure he didn't do. The District Attorney's involved in the case acting unethicallly, and unfairly. Mr. Mcelmurry put his whole effor...t into the case and ultimately got our son on a plea bargain that was a victory in our eyes. No registration and timed served. although we are still angry at the DA's misconduct. It was something we and our Son could live with. We will now pick up the pieces of our lives after two years of fighting the case. I highly recommend Nelson Mcelmurry as a defense Lawyer due to the fact he provided a defense that, in our minds and hearts, saved my Son's life

I was framed up by my ex-wife with premeditated plot (false accusation of fake "domestic violence"), Nelson gave me tremendous help in my case, fighting against evil and protecting innocent people. Nelson is a very sharp and eloquent lawyer in the court, and he is a very sincere and honest friend out... of court, he has a big heart, and he does care about clients. Nelson is a friend that I always trust.

It wasn't long ago, or was it, that the "system" took control of my life and kept in in a whirlpool of fear and confusion; and then I decided to take back my life. Filing for dismissal and/or reduction of past record(s) is a long and confusing process - and when spread across several different counti...es, the task is daunting. However, when I was introduced to Nelson, and even after the first visit, I came away knowing that everything was going to be "alright". And even if it wasn't, I stood knowing that everything that could have been done in MY interest was done - and not the the pocketbook of the atty. Nelson was true to form the entire process, and even though we are far from complete in our tasks, I felt so compelled by his patience and kindness (human almost) to write this review, regardless of the final outcome. And whatever the outcome, I will go away knowing that not only have I found a capable attorney/counsel, but also a very good friend.

Nelson was recently our attorney and my brother was facing life in prison without the possibility of parole. After trying to negotiate with the DA and advise that clearly my brother did not commit the hainous acts he was being accused of we had no choice but to go to trial. He kept us informed throug...h out the process and was able to put things in plain english and in perspective. It was quite an emotional rollercoaster for my brother and my parents and our entire family. Nelson went above and beyond and he always gave us the information as it was, no fluff or painting a pretty picture. He was straight forward and honest.
