I hired Bob after I was granted a temporary restraining order by the court. I hoped Bob could help me prepare for my next hearing. I was referred to him via a lawyer referral service number given to me by a domestic violence women’s shelter. He recommended a specific strategy and document, and pro...vided me a copy to fill out (that still had previous clients’ names and information that hadn’t been deleted and civil code numbers that obviously didn’t correlate to anything pertaining to my case). After difficult and time consuming editing (He lacked basic skills when navigating Microsoft word), the judge eventually said clearly that this document not only had incorrect codes, but it was not a legally acceptable filing in the first place. He misplaced my original restraining order paperwork and asked me to send him another copy. Further, I had to remind him of our court date. He had not filed the paperwork as discussed, and had I not followed up directly my restraining order would have expired, putting my family in danger.
