About Michael
Biography
I was a city planner for nearly 35 years before becoming an attorney. This experience gives me an unusually strong background in working with the public and with city staff to get large, complex or controversial development projects through the pipeline. My more recent legal training has augmented this background with the technical tools to understand and use the law to accomplish my client's purposes.
I chose to become a lawyer rather than retiring because I enjoy the work. I find it rewarding to help those in need of my specialized talents, to find ways of accomplishing my clients goals, and to take on complicated issues and discover an approach or perspective to the problem that produces results.
