Christopher Olson

I am a shareholder at SMWB with more than 20 years of civil litigation and trial experience, including multiple jury verdicts and judgments in favor of SMWB clients. I represent individuals and businesses, including contractors, subcontractors, commercial and residential owners, employers and employees, and landlords and tenants in all facets of litigation through trial or negotiated resolution.

My services include consultation and risk management/avoidance, contract review and negotiation, bid protests, delay/disruption claims, insurance coverage disputes and complex construction, business and employment litigation. I also provide consultation regarding ADA compliance and defend ADA accessibility claims.

I received my J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1997 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of California at Los Angeles. I have extensive experience in representing clients in both state and federal courts, as well as in private mediations and arbitrations, including proceedings before JAMS and the American Arbitration Association.
