Over the 20 plus years of representing clients in both litigation and transactional matters, I have come to appreciate the important role a lawyer plays in advising and counseling a client not just in what "the law" is but in what the practical outcomes and consequences can and often are with any particular decision made in connection with a legal question or concern.

Lawyers are expensive (and can even be intimidating at times) and legal issues, for most of us, are frustrating, stressful, and anxiety provoking.  This is why most of us don't want to deal with lawyers and legal issues and why I decided, in 2023, to start doing something a bit differently. 

Instead of only representing clients in the traditional "long-form" manner, I started offering brief, client-driven advice and counseling sessions where my time is charged by-the-minute (yes...by-the-minute) and at a reduced rate that reflects the brief, conversational delivery of legal advice and counsel.
