In WC, we only apportion permanent disability. We do not apportion medical care or temporary disability.

Workers comp is for on the job injuries. You don't mention any such injury so I don't think you belong in WC. Maybe Immigration law or tax law.

If you are going to file for WC, then you should do so while still employed. There is a prohibition against post termination claims.
