I consulted with Bill on more than one occasion during my mediation. Bill had very good advice and has called me back quickly just to answer a question when NOT on the clock. He is also very respected in Marin County as one of the top in his field. If I had another divorce (knock on wood) where there were some real assets involved, I would use Bill in a heartbeat. You owe it to yourself to at least meet him. He doesn't have pictures of himself all over the office like some others in this business do, he is straight forward, smart and respected which is all you can ask for. Divorce is no fun, he won't change that. However, losing your shirt makes it a lot worse and Bill will prevent that.

It would not be possible for me to recommend Bill Johnson more highly. Here is why: *Bill is smarter than your ex's attorney. I don't care who your ex hired, Bill is smarter. And not just "smarter," he's just more *intelligent*. His legal documents are astonishingly well written, in one of mine he used the word "legerdemain" which I actually had to look up! *Bill is all about mitigating conflict, being rational and getting it done. Many family law attorneys will happily write letters arguing about silly things like toasters. Bill told me from day one, "let the little things go, be careful with legal fees and avoid court" *Bill actually did not want me as a client, because he was too expensive. I told him that I wanted someone more efficient and that I believed he would cost me less, and he agreed (and I was right - more per hour is worth it for a truly talented attorney!) Hiring Bill was the best thing I did in my divorce. He is smart as can be, down to earth, no nonsense, no drama, and his heart is big and bold and will not let you down.
