Wendy Marie Gibson

I hired Wendy Gibson as a child support attorney. I'm not working and funds are low. I needed her to modify a current court order. I paid the retaining fee of $2500. After documents were emailed to her a month went by and I hadn't heard anything. I left several messages and no response for 2 weeks. I... contacted legal shield who referred her to me and they also tried for a week to contact her. When she finally contacted me back her response was " Sorry I've been in trial for the last 8 days"... Understandable, I know people are busy. That doesn't explain almost 2 months going by and not even returning my phone calls which I thought was common courtesy. I can't explain how embarrassing it is to contact child support a month after you've paid your attorney and they tell you no attorney has contacted them. Due to her negligence of my case my tax refund and disability was/is being intercepted by child support. Until I can have a real attorney modify my case. The best thing she has done was fully refund my retainer fee. Even though it took a week after I said I wanted a refund and her response to my reminder emails was less than professional. Example " ok I got it" and "I didn't bug you this much" to name a couple. This is by far the worse experience I've had not only with an attorney but with any business. If the well being of your children, funds or time is not a priority then I highly recommend this attorney.

This is possibly the worst attorney I have ever worked with in my entire life. In this situation, it is extremely emotionally traumatic because I have two children I love dearly and her incompetence is threatening their lives. I have a divorce case with very blatant facts and proof I need to put forw...ard, and my children's lives are at risk based on corruption in the court system. This is extremely significant, and I have all the data to prove it. Not only was she not on my side, she did not properly file the facts despite saying she would do so that are necessary for the case. I now have to dedicate all my time to suing her in civil court...I have never met anyone more who deserves a loss of license, financial and emotional damages she caused myself and children, and criminal charges if anything happens to them because of her actions (or lack thereof)

This is the second time Wendy has represented us. The first time was years ago during a custody battle with my wife's two kids and her ex-husband. It was messy and stressful. We fired our first attorney and hired Wendy. Wendy went in fighting tooth and nail and was able to accurately and thoroughly c...onvey all our concerns and main points to the judge. Thankfully we were able to settle out of court because of Wendy's help and drawing up the negotiations and agreement. This year we sought out help from Wendy again, this time to help us terminate a 3 year contract that we were unfairly and unjustly being held to after our children were experiencing disability discrimination at their karate school. Wendy again, thoroughly researched our claims and wrote the necessary letters to close the account, something we attempted and wasn't successful in doing ourselves. Now, we will be seeking her to advise us on our living trust. She does it all and we are so thankful and blessed to have such knowledgeable, proactive representation when we need it!
