Going through a divorce and custody settlement is not something I could have ever imagined would have happend to me. When it did I was so thankful that Marie helped me through it. At first I thought my case would be cut and dry as my ex-husband and I agreed on pretty much everything, be advised tha...t can change in an instant. Especially when your ex-husband hires an attorney who relies on threats and scare tactics. These things might have worked to deceive me into an unfair agreement had it not been for Marie. I could not have nicer things to say about working with Marie, but the thing that stands out the most and is the most valuable is her sheer knowledge of the law. She knows all of the rules and regulations, how they work, why they are in place, and how they help you specifically. She would inform me how the legal system works down to the detail. Something that was very important to me. This woman knows her stuff and there is just no other way to put it. In legal situations knowledge is power, with her you get a wealth of it. Marie was a dream in every aspect for me but the other big thing that stood out was her integrity. She never never stooped to the oppositions level. She kept our case thoughtful and helped me to make the right choices. She would steer me away from succumbing to anger or haste. She has total class and always made me feel as though she was fair and honest. A hard thing to find in a lawyer. She was always available to me and in my opinion went above and beyond to be accessible. Something that was nice when I would panic. (She could totally moonlight as a therapist.)
