If he won't voluntarily pay you back then your only option is going to be small claims court. It would be a basic breach of contract claim.

If it is mandatory training then they are supposed to pay you. If it is voluntary, they aren't required to. So in this case they should be paying...

You just hire a local (Texas) process server to serve their registered agent. You don't have to literally go there yourself.

Car 1, since the owner's negligence set all of this into motion, unless Car 2 was also somehow negligent, in which case both of them would be liable.

I don't see how it's anything to do with an ethics issue, unless you have proof that the lawyer is telling the client to ignore a court order.

Yes, for a cause of action called negligence. The damages may be too low for a lawyer to be interested, but you can sue in small claims court....
