Romy Suzanne Taubman

Romy S. Taubman is a Certified Family Law Specialist. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1993. After graduating Order of the Coif from UCLA law school in 1993, Romy clerked for the Honorable Judge Mariana Pfaelzer in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. In 1994, Romy began in private practice as a corporate securities/mergers and acquisitions/public offerings attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto. In 2008, Romy transitioned to working as a full time family law attorney. She became a partner with Greene Jordan & Taubman LLP in 2010.

Romy's legal background addressing highly complex financial transactions give her added skills that she brings to the financial issues that arise in family law. As a skilled negotiator, she also knows how to get a deal done— efficiently and cost effectively. In addition, as a mother of three children, Romy understands the range of emotional and practical issues that naturally arise in a divorce when children are involved.

Romy received her B.A. from Stanford, with distinction, in 1989. Romy was an Editor of the UCLA law review and graduated at the top of her class. Romy was a Lecturer at Boalt Hall in the Legal Research and Writing Program in 1996. Romy is a member of the Marin County Women Lawyer's Association and the family law section of the Marin County Bar Association. Romy has served on numerous committees for the Ross Valley School District, including as President of the Parent Club Association, President of the Site Council and as a member of the District Leadership Council.
