Johanna Theresa Gomez

I cannot imagine a more untrue or unfair review, as the one left on February 11th. Johanna has been my attorney for many years. In that time I have only known Johanna to be a diligent, thoughtful, and responsive attorney. Johanna practices in the areas of estate planning, estate litigation, conservat...orships, and elder abuse. Johanna has a reputation in the community for being thoroughly committed to her clients. Further, Johanna is known as an attorney who greatly serves the elderly community: she serves as court-appointed counsel on the conservatorship panel for the Marin County Superior Court; she is an attorney volunteer for Legal Aid of Marin; and she is adjunct professor at Golden Gate School of Law in San Francisco, where she teaches a class on financial abuse of the elderly. Johanna is also one of the most highly educated attorneys that I have ever met. Johanna has three law degrees: Juris Doctorate (JD), a Master of Law (LLM) in taxation, and a Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) I have referred many friends to Johanna and we have all been exceptionally pleased with her work.

Johanna has represented my husband and me for about 12 years. She drafted our estate documents and assisted us with several complex estate issues dealing with international law. Johanna also represented the majority of the seniors in our mobile home park some years back when the roof fell in on the c...lubhouse and the management refused to make the repairs for over five years. Through Johanna’s efforts, the residents of the park received a settlement that was valued in the neighborhood of $250,000 but Johanna did not charge us a dime: the entire case was handled on a pro bono basis. Johanna has also held free legal clinics in our park. Her dedication to seniors and to her profession is unparalleled.And we are proud to have her as a friend.
