I have over 30 years of experience at large regional, national, and international corporate law firms. I specialize in matters involving soil and groundwater contamination and also have extensive experience in occupational safety and health (OSHA) compliance. In Califoria, I also have a vibrant landlord tenant practice, representing landlords and tenants throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
I have practiced and am licensed in three states: California, Illinois, and Indiana. My large firm background includes time at Parker, Milliken, Clark, O'Hara & Samuelian (Los Angeles, CA); Seyfarth, Shaw, Fairweather & Geraldson (Chicago, IL); Jones Day (Chicago, IL); and Ice Miller LLP (Indianapolis, IN). Over the course of my career, I have represented dozens of Fortune 500 companies as well as small companies, local governments, small family businesses, and individuals. I have represented employers in over a dozen workplace fatality cases, and have assisted clients with environmental, safety and health enforcement cases, compliance audits, and in numerous litigated cases.
My goal during my representations is to provide the client with competent but affordable legal advice, and to come up with creative ways to help my clients handle their legal problems with as little financial impact to their bottom line as possible.

Daniel, I sent you an email message offering to speak with you by phone. It is a bit more than a little disinengenous of you to claim in your Avvo comment that you have consulted with me and then refuse to even respond to my email message offering to speak with you, and then to post a public comment about me. I'm happy to speak with you by phone. You can call the number provided in the email message I sent to you.

Excellent representation & very responsive
Ellen assisted me in a dispute with new landlords that were forcing me out of my apartment due to them wanting to occupy it for themselves. She was the authoritative voice that I needed to argue on my behalf and her effort resulted in me living in a better housing situation than my former one - x10!
