INCOMPETENT AND NEGLIGENT/ RECKLESS

I do not recommend.... He says what he can do, but fails to follow through. He missed a court date for one of my projects. He fails to disclose options to clients and properly prepare them, even for damage control. he is not familiar with appellate court procedures as it pertains to small claims case...s, where attorneys can represent. He will take your money and fail to give you a financial agreement and monthly breakdown. He also files documentation without the review and authorization of the client and leave the client to deal with the aftermath if it is not accurate. He has filed projects in incorrect jurisdictions, forget to show up to court dates and "half ass" your paperwork. There has also been one incident with his behavior that sheriff's deputies who maintain/ monitor the court lobby/ metal detectors/ outside of the court rooms observed his very unprofessional and degrading/ demeaning/ verbally abusive behavior and as he went to the car to get his glasses, the deputies approached me as they thought he was "an abusive boyfriend" and opted to approach him as "No Man should talk to Any Woman Like That"... He is somewhat knowledgeable but very uncomfortable to approach, even with the simplest question. He helped with a couple processes, though I found I was doing most of the footwork in preparing discoveries and physically driving to file (although I was paying him). But on an overall, he's proven to be incompetent. He also changes his story as he states he will do something one day and change it to something else the next and he does NOT follow through on what he says. For monies I have lost in paying him for projects, even for months he did bare minimal work and nothing to show for it and dropped balls, including missing critical court dates, I now have to sue him as he needs to be held accountable and will be reporting him to Bar Association. Make sure you yelp him and check other complaint sites before retaining him. I do not recommend. He messed up a probate project that I had to correct after firing him. He horribly flawed a motion in another part of litigation where he filed something without my authorization or even review and he doesn't specialize in Anti-SLAPP... Even for a current action of a project I gave to him, he's dragging his feet, didn't prepare/ disclose to clients of proper procedures and options, nor explain injunction or need for emergency orders for damage control and leaves clients to basically fend for themselves while he takes their money and not even accounting for it other than him taking frequent trips and spending time at the library.....Strictly bad news and if I had of seen the red flags ahead of time and I would have run for the hills.

Incompetent Attorney,

Mr. Morrison stated he could do a motion to compel for a fixed fee. He failed to do the work in a timely and competent manner. I asked for a full refund since he did not perform as promised. He then provided an inflated billing statement in order to justify keeping the flat fee paid. Mr Morrison is ...required to present an attorney client agreement when the cost of legal services exceed $1,000.00. Mr. Morrison failed to provide any such agreement.
