On November 19, 2012, U.S. District Judge Maxine M. Chesney granted final approval of a $100 million settlement with JPMorgan Chase & Co. on behalf of Chase cardholders.
A settlement was negotiated on behalf of Ducati owners providing extended warranties and covered repairs for fuel tank expansion issues, including cosmetic imperfections.
A settlement was awarded granting vehicle owners $650 cash reimbursements or up to $1300 in new vehicle credits.
The litigation resulted in a change in UCSF’s privacy practices to protect patient information going forward.
