Claude Dawson Ames

Claude Dawson Ames is an Arbitrator, Mediator and Attorney with over 33 years of Arbitration-Mediation and Fact Finding Dispute Resolution experience in both the  public and private ADR sectors of Commercial, Employment, Labor and Management Relations, Sexual Harassment, Discipline, Wage and Hour issues, and Violence in the Workplace disputes. He also practices Bankruptcy Law in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, where he represents debtors and creditors in Chapter 7 and 11 business bankruptcies. He has represented clients before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; U.S. Tax Court, Bankruptcy Appellant Panel (BAP) for the Ninth Circuit; and is a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar. He received his BA from the University of California at Berkeley (1974) and JD from the University of California, Hastings College of Law (1977).
