Ann Nhieu Thi Nguyen

Nguyen is a founding partner of the law firm of Phan, Nguyen and Associates LLP and is a seasoned general transactional and litigation attorney. Nguyen has served as lead counsel in the successful resolution of over 500 complex legal matters. Furthermore, Nguyen has delivered excellent results in strategic business negotiations involving millions of dollars while also serving as a trusted friendly advisor to corporate executives. Her passion lies in technology where she serves as general counsel to internet tech companies and community service organizations where she is heavily involved in diversity issues in the legal community as well as diversity pipeline programs.

Nguyen holds a Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics Accounting. Additionally, Nguyen has a MBA and CPA training background along with an extensive depth and breadth of exerpiences working in a wide range of sectors including communications, internet technology, finance, accounting, and marketing.

Using exceptional and sound judgment Nguyen advises her clients as a general counsel using a creative, proactive, smart, efficient, effective and business focused strategic approach. Her practice area includes advising clients on general business transactions, finance, litigation, compliance, privacy, intellectual property, marketing content, internet service product launches, PCI compliance, consumer protection, advertising, real estate, leasing, restraining orders, mortgage, foreclosure and bankruptcy issues. 

With comprehensive business and litigation experience, creative problem solving skills, along with a strong acumen for using new technologies to efficiently resolve tasks, Nguyen is able to effectively and adequately counsel on the legal risks involved on a wide range of issues and formulate a smart plan of action. Prior to forming Phan, Nguyen and Associates LLP, Nguyen worked at NBC, Coca Cola, a intellectual property and business litigation firm, as well as at the Public Defender's Office.

Nguyen is admitted to practice law in the State of California and the United States District Court Northern District of California, Southern District of California, Central District of California and Eastern District of California.
