Brendan Godfrey skillfully prepared the Last Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Advanced Directives for me and my wife. Over a period of about six months, he walked us through every step, letting us take our time, sometimes weeks, to mull over difficult decisions, and he was always available to answ...er questions to help us make the best choices for our needs. His detailed knowledge and proactive attention to possible problems that might arise — things we would never have seen on our own — were a great relief to us, and gave us even more confidence in our choice of him as our legal representative. He didn't blink an eye (or charge us extra) when he caught an omission in the info we gave him and had to re-do a lot of the work he had already done for us. Brendan always treated us with great respect and professional courtesy. The final products were clear and easy to understand and beautifully prepared, still showing great attention to necessary legal detail. Brendan's deeply considered responses to questions may come across at first as slow; but we came to know that when Brendan takes his time to answer a question, it is because he considers every aspect of a situation. He wants to be sure he has covered every possible scenario, every legal hypothetical, and that you are aware everything you need to know. As we worked with Brendan, we grew to enjoy awaiting his answers to our questions, because we knew they were always going to reveal so much more information than we'd anticipated.
