Ryan is a rising star in the legal world. He is a great lawyer and was a godsend in my wrongful eviction case. Ryan is very knowledgeable of the renter's law for commercial spaces
I had a beauty business for eight years. The property management and new landlord would not respond to my emails for months asking to negotiate the rent while I was completely closed. They kept me in the dark for a year and a half without any intent of negotiation until the moratorium ended for commercial spaces. Ryan was able to start a negotiation, and he figured out pretty soon we need it to change strategies with these people, as they are very inflexible, and there was not going to be an easy route to it. He was very knowledgeable of the renter's law for commercial spaces and helped me get out of my lease, even though I was out of the moratorium. I am pleased with the outcome, and now that everything is over, I am relaxed and at peace that they will not come back after me. I will be forever thankful to have found him. If you are looking for a renter-landlord negotiation, don't look further.

Ryan assisted us with negotiating the termination of a lease agreement. We'd not been in our office space for over a year due to all the Covid restrictions, so we approached our landlord to terminate the lease. The landlord agreed to discuss it, but kept putting us off and then we were referred to Ryan. Ryan did not hesitate to step up for us. He kept us informed, guided us in every step of the legal process, has been very fair to the landlord in these discussions, and was a trustworthy advocate for us. Ryan represented me in a sexual harassment case at my grad school program. Throughout the process, Ryan was an incredibly supportive and grounded counsel. Great Lawyer!
Mr. Knutson was extremely helpful when dealing with our landlord as we negotiated our contract during COVID-19. He was knowledgeable about our case and our rights, took the time to listen and really worked with us to come to a resolution. He spent lots of time helping us sort through the legal terms and language. He listened to our needs and was able to convey that to the opposing counsel. He checked in with us frequently to make sure we understood where we were in the process and to answer any of our questions. Overall, he did an amazing job and if the need were to arise, we would definitely work with him again.

Landlord Tenant Disputes & Negotiations
I first reached out to Ryan for help clearing up confusion about the terms of my lease between my landlord and myself. He was quickly able to understand the process and help me write the appropriate letter to resolve said dispute. Later, when I needed a lawyer to help with a landlord move in, I knew Ryan was the only lawyer I needed to call. He helped us slog through an 8-month process, and helped both me and my roommates feel confident in our understanding of the process and in our final result.
