I don't typically write reviews for anything , but this woman is a SAINT! I had spent literal years consulting with different attorneys, most of which were afraid to take my case. A random person gave me her number, I called it, and when I tell you this woman took my case with a week (or so) notice ...of a court date, and has had my back and consulted me better than any of the other 5-10 attorneys I had spoken with prior to her, she is AMAZING. Empathetic, to the point, financially conscious, responsive, not selfish at all, and an amazing memory to boot, she has been my absolute rock and I probably would have lost my kids if she didn't articulate correctly to me. The way she handles her business and communicates to me in such a grounded manner is precisely the reason I have my children. She is strategic as hell, like a cat waiting to pounce on the right moment, and I will never choose another attorney for family matters! The way she strategizes is also the reason why many of our disagreements can now be resolved outside of the courts, because I think many attorneys would have been impulsive in my case which would have made matters much worse in a very delicate situation! Zoe Garvin handled my child custody, restraining order and divorce cases. This was an extremely difficult time for my ex-wife and myself. What I appreciate most about Zoe was that she was always respectful to both of us. The legal system is designed to pit a couple against each other and to amplify t...hose differences in order to take advantage of them practically for its own sake but although she always acted in my best interests she was also kind and fair and did her best to be equitable towards and communicate with my ex sympathetically and in a way that left us the greatest opportunity for mutual self-resolution when that was still possible. I don't know about other people, but to me this was very important. She is a relatively soft spoken lawyer but it seemed to me the judge always listened to her very carefully and when he did not understand she made a point of clarifying the situation to him. With respect to my own worries Zoe always answered my questions in a way that made clear our options and allowed me to get some rest during that stressful time. For any man or any woman unlucky enough to have to go through Family Court, I would highly recommend her.

She was patient and explained diligently what needed to be done in my case and was honest. She settled the case sooner than I expected and reimbursed the extra cash she had leftover. I would absolutely go back to her if I need more legal help or advice in the future, and I will refer her to anyone I ...know who needs legal help in this area.

Zoe was great! She explained the process of the services that I needed then let me decide what exactly I wanted to do. This was really hard for me and my significant other. She also provided information for him to help him understand the process. We finally got it done. Zoe was very kind and patient ...and very professional.
